Abstract: Vanadium-titanium catalysts deposited on structural carriers work in industrial multi-tubular reactors most often in conditions deviated from optimum parameters. As a result we observe distinct differences in productivities of the process in individual tubes of the reactor. The effect of deviations from optimum pa-rameters on thermal-flow characteristics of structural catalysts has been presented. A criterion of the mini-mum generation of the entropy was applied.
