Abstract: The paper presents flow resistance of a new type of catalytic carriers - streamlined structures. They are short-channel structures (short monoliths) of various channel cross-sectional shape. The innovation of the design is channel wall similar to the airfoil profile. The influence of the structure length and the channel cross-sectional shape on flow resistance is presented. The results are also compared with the values for monolith and
packed bed.
